I had this book for years and was kept at the shelf. It finally caught my attention and picked it for my next read.
What ticked me was the premise of first love. Yeah im totally a sucker for romance novels.
Arlo and Petra met and were each others first love 17 years ago. But I almost gave up midway because of the side stories before they meet again took 18 chapters. I kept prodding myself to continue reading though I did get my happy ending after 34 chapters.
I was glad i read and finished it. I love the idea of destiny, of serendipity, of first loves, of true loves and of forever. Just wished Freya North made it short and sweet.
